Alexis Sabor, CAPM
Assistant Manager, Policy and Transformation
Alexis Sabor serves as the Assistant Manager of the Policy and Transformation Teams for Transform Health, with a specific focus on California policy and implementation efforts. Alexis supports both programming and policy-driven system transformation projects related to Medicaid that address housing, equity, and health related social needs. Alexis also tracks transformation efforts for the firm to inform program planning and strategy.
Alexis is a certified project manager, with a focus in agile program design, and has played a critical role in the firm’s California-based transformation projects. Alexis served as lead Project Manager for the City of Sacramento’s Whole Person Care pilot – a large multi-stakeholder systems transformation pilot project that provided housing, health care and other social services to people experiencing homelessness. In this role, her main responsibilities included project management, technical assistance to stakeholders, and program design and implementation support. Building off Whole Person Care’s success, Alexis currently leads a grant program funded by Medicaid managed care plans intended to invest in infrastructure and workforce capacity for Medicaid service providers across California. She is responsible for establishing program-wide timelines, operating procedures, workflows, and managing stakeholder engagement efforts in 22 counties. Before joining Transform Health, Alexis provided facilitation and administrative support for community-based organizations fighting sexual health disparities in Rock County, WI.
Alexis is a volunteer at heart. Alexis serves as a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and has robust experience with navigating foster care systems, including volunteering with and advocating for transitioned-aged youth in foster care. She also spent multiple years volunteering with a local sexual assault recovery hotline that supports victims of domestic violence in Beloit, WI.
Alexis has a bachelor’s degree in public health from Beloit College, with a minor in political science. Alexis is a certified associate in project management (CAPM) and has been trained on the Project Management Body of Knowledge via the Project Management Institute. In her free time, Alexis likes to run around Sacramento with her dogs, Keri and Big.
