Arie Kim-El Arabi

Director, Transformation

Arie Kim-El Arabi joins Transform Health as Director of Transformation for the Los Angeles Region. She comes with a decade of experience in clinical, business, and strategic operations of health care delivery organizations in the Greater Los Angeles area. Her nuanced understanding of different stakeholder perspectives within the California health care ecosystem continue to inform her work. 

Prior to Transform Health, Arie was Chief of Staff to the Chief Administrative Officer of Optum CA where she partnered with senior leadership in strategic planning, business operations, value tracking, and transformation. Earlier in her career, she managed special projects, financial and operational reporting, and primary care physician quality incentive payments within the UCLA Health Primary Care Network. She has additional clinical operations management and direct patient care experience prior to UCLA Health.  

Arie has successfully led complex initiatives of cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams through effective skills in stakeholder management, change enablement, systems thinking, and adaptive leadership. She has a strong track record of identifying and executing the critical path for implementation to achieve short- and long-term strategic goals and objectives in matrixed organizations. She is skilled in developing the appropriate metrics for data-driven decision making and continuous performance improvement.  

Arie obtained her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of California Los Angeles and continues to rep the blue and gold while an Executive Master of Health Administration candidate at the University of Washington School of Public Health. She is a devoted dog mom, semi-attentive plant mom, and bookworm. She and her husband love witty banter, spicy ethnic food, tennis, and purposeful gatherings of family, friends, and community.
