Data Associate

Transform Health is a mission-driven, nationally certified, women and minority-owned health care consulting firm based in Sacramento, California. Our mission is to drive systems change to create healthy communities. The full-time Data Associate is a forty-hour-per-week, remote position within Transform Health. 

To be successful, you must be detail-oriented, eager to learn, an active listener, driven, and familiar with technical and data platforms. Transform Health is an agile project management environment and knowledge of Salesforce and multiple project management tools is required. The person in this role needs to be self-generating and flexible across various projects in a remote office environment. The right candidate will work dynamically with health policy and program teams.

Job Duties:

  • Provide basic technical support and training to ensure ongoing adoption of technological tools to advance projects across various products used by Transform Health and its clients including but not limited to, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and TeamWork.

  • Utilize project management approaches to contribute to the MIS Team and workflows.

  • Develop and document best practices for key software including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Salesforce, and Teamwork.

  • Design data visuals and basic training tools and resources to be used internally for our team and externally for our clients.

  • Lead a process improvement workstream to implement and propose solutions that solve gaps in program workflows and design new project workflow solutions.

  • Organize public and private datasets to be used for data analysis reports.

  • Analyze data to determine trends that can help inform strategic decision-making.

  • Produce and design reports for internal and client-facing project work. 

  • Assist in administrative management of MIS systems, including password management, license management, and tracking expenses as needed.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (science (data or other), economics, business, or another analytical field preferred but other degrees will be considered with sufficient data experience)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Quick learner and early adopter of new tools

  • Experienced in discussing technical concepts and data with a non-technical audience.  

  • Strong customer service skills – the ideal hire can work patiently with the team and clients to troubleshoot issues in a clear, calm manner

  • Experienced as a power user or in a support/administrator role at a company that uses Salesforce or another similar CRM system 

  • Experienced as a power user or in a support/administrator role at a company that uses SharePoint

  • Experienced working with large, complex datasets, especially raw data that may not be standardized strongly preferred

  • Experience with one or more data visualization tools preferred
