Director of Learning and Engagement

Transform Health is a mission-driven, nationally certified, women and minority-owned health care consulting firm based in Sacramento, California. Our mission is to drive systems change to create healthy communities. The Director of Learning and Engagement will lead our online learning community work in collaboration with our clients nationwide. This role is also responsible for organizing our annual conference and supporting knowledge management for project-based work at the firm. The Director of Learning and Engagement has the support of the Communications Manager and supervises that role, as well as the collaborative support of the project team(s). This is a remote position with up to 20% national travel as needed. 

The Director of Learning and Engagement is expected to:

  • Create, manage, inform design, and implement our new online learning collaborative for federally facilitated outreach and enrollment states in collaboration with leadership.

  • Present reports, data findings, and represent the firm in collaboration with our client and staff to review learnings, develop and inform content, and craft and deliver summary reports from field programs.

  • Develop a system using our firm’s tools (for example Salesforce) that the Senior Director of Enrollment uses to capture themes and trends from the field to document for reporting and best practices, which inform the direction and content of the learning collaborative. 

  • Create detailed, polished reports to document the progress of our work including graphs and other visuals that display health informatics.

  • Create PowerPoints and activity-based materials for adult learners in collaboration with the field team.

  • Develop and manage work plans across the learning collaborative to demonstrate value and capacity building in the field programs.

  • Collaborate with the field team and federal liaison to develop and write legacy use cases to review with leadership and our clients for best practice replication in the program.

  • Review and share detailed dashboards and reporting on best practices and lessons learned. 

  • Direct and plan the annual conference(s) for our client in collaboration with C-Suite and leadership following the client’s direction. This includes creating a detailed work plan for travel, logistics, agendas, speakers, and outreach.

  • Represent Transform Health at approved events with our clients, at events, conferences, and other venues to meet the goals of our health systems change mission and to build pipeline for business in a variety of subjects relevant to the firm’s mission (e.g., Medicaid, ACA Marketplace, Outreach) virtually and in-person.

  • Manage and cultivate relationships and leads for business development. Work with senior leadership to develop business and bring in new clients where appropriate in collaboration with C-Suite. 

  • Understand and have awareness of the ACA enrollment policy landscape including marketplace and Medicaid, to train and lead the field team to carry out strategy, planning, training, and coaching initiatives in the field states. 

  • Drive a collaborative spirit to build culture for the Outreach and Enrollment team with other staff at Transform Health across projects, and our clients, to develop relationships and set strategic direction for our outreach and enrollment portfolio for the firm in collaboration with C-Suite and other Senior Leadership.

  • Inform strategy with senior leadership to manage and cultivate new relationships for our firm to create business development relationships and future work pipelines. 

  • Manage and direct a portfolio of wide-ranging small and large, short- and longer-term projects, including writing proposals for new work.  

  • Annual travel to California, Washington, DC, and field states as needed is required.
