Kristie joins Transform Health as an External Affairs Associate with experience in policy consulting
and advocacy in public and government affairs. At Transform Health, Kristie facilitates communications and programmatic support amongst stakeholder groups and team members. Content creation, program implementation, and data tracking are a few of her responsibilities, tackling projects such as the Data Exchange Framework and the CalAIM implementation in Los Angeles and San Diego regions.

Prior to joining, Kristie worked at Dewey Square Group, where she engaged with stakeholders and developed partnerships between public and private sectors to promote positive changes in health care, education, the environment, and technology. She has varied experiences in developing public affairs and communications materials, executing grassroots strategies in government campaigns, and engaging with clients in corporate, non-profit, public and government agencies.

Kristie served a two-year appointed term as a Board Director on the Isla Vista Community
Services district, a local government agency created to ensure a higher quality of life and level
of public safety, providing a voice for constituents. She served on financial and social
committees, allocating over $ 1.3 million dollars to localize public services and maximize resources available to the community. Her focuses included public health, budgeting, women’s rights, and representation.

Kristie obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from UC Santa Barbara, double majoring in Sociology and Asian American studies and concentrating on the Sociological Impacts in Public Health. Kristie is passionate about increasing the quality of health care, environmental protections, and cultural inclusivity. Her favorite place is anywhere by the water – one of the most adventurous things she’s done is cliff dive into a freezing lake by a waterfall with live trout!
