Alexis Sabor, CAPM

Assistant Manager, Policy and Transformation

Alexis Sabor serves as the Assistant Manager of the Policy and Transformation Teams for Transform Health and provides comprehensive health policy tracking, monitoring, and analysis with a specific focus on California policy and legislation. Alexis is based in Sacramento where she monitors, and tracks state-based innovation related to Medi-Cal, housing, equity, access, coverage, payment and delivery reforms.

Alexis has had many roles in her time at Transform Health. Most recently, she served as lead Project Manager for a large multi-stakeholder systems transformation initiative and pilot project based out of Sacramento, California. In this role, her main responsibilities included project management, technical assistance to stakeholders, and program design and implementation support. Alexis worked with consultants to research, gather and organize information on programs, processes and procedures, documenting findings and recommendations in written reports and presentations. Her time on this project has provided her with hands on experience in implementing health and housing programs for people experiencing homelessness. Outside of work, Alexis volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for youth in the Sacramento foster care system.

Before joining Transform Health, Alexis provided facilitation and administrative support for community-based organizations fighting sexual health disparities in Rock County, WI. Alexis also spent years volunteering with a local sexual assault recovery hotline that supports victims of domestic violence and facilitated evidence-based sexual education programs for at-risk youth in Beloit, WI.

Alexis has a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Beloit College, with a minor in Political Science. Alexis is a certified associate in project management (CAPM) and has been trained on the Project Management Body of Knowledge via the Project Management Institute. In her free time, Alexis likes to run around Sacramento with her dogs, Keri and Big.
