Dania Wasongarz, MSW

Dania Wasongarz is a manager at Transform Health. In this role, she builds partnerships with providers, managed care health insurers, and community organizations across the complex Medi-Cal ecosystem to advance access to and quality of care.

Dania comes to Transform Health with over 20 years of experience as a strategist in both public and private organizations. Her expertise includes program design and management, research, health policy, marketing, digital transformation, outreach, and strategic planning and communications.

Dania excels at leading cross-functional teams and engaging stakeholders to plan and implement health care initiatives that improve systems and quality outcomes.

She has worked with prominent national and California health care organizations, aligning organizational goals across multiple departments and analyzing members’ and customers’ needs and preferences. She developed impactful marketing campaigns across multiple channels to educate parents on the risk of youth vaping, persuade rural teens to stop chewing tobacco, and help health plan members navigate the health care system.

Dania holds a master’s degree in social welfare from UC Berkeley, focusing on policy, program planning, research, and management.
