Program Associate

Melody Moua serves as a Program Associate for Transform Health, supporting the implementation of CalAIM initiatives in the Central Valley.  

Before joining Transform Health, Melody was a research assistant for the Stanford School of Medicine. The projects she supported aimed to improve maternal and child health outcomes, focusing on medication adherence and childhood immunization. In her role, Melody supported data collection, analysis, and visualization. In addition, she conducted literature reviews, survey creation, interviews, and focus group facilitation. 

Her other past work experiences have included working directly with the Asian American community at Stanford University and as a comprehensive perinatal health worker in Fresno, California. These experiences inform her work by prioritizing a community-focused approach, aimed at finding solutions that improve the well-being and health of her communities.   

Melody earned her bachelor’s degree in human biology from Stanford University, concentrating in public health, epidemiology, and policy.  In her free time, Melody enjoys playing tennis, reading Asian American and queer literature, and creating flower bouquets.”
