Michelle (Shapiro) Kenney

Michelle is the communications manager at Transform Health. In this role, she drives the development of effective content to achieve strategic outcomes, and she supports Transform Health’s wide array of communications work.

With 15 years of national and global communications experience, Michelle is skilled at distilling complex topics into clear messaging for key stakeholders. Prior to joining Transform Health, Michelle drove the planning, creation, delivery, and governance of web content at a large health association, maintaining the brand voice across several web properties.

Michelle has managed internal and external communications at a variety of health organizations, strategically aligning business goals with audience needs across projects, marketing campaigns, and events. Michelle has built digital communications capacity for professionals and organizations around the world through customized trainings, and she has spoken on communication strategy at conferences and universities nationwide.

Michelle received a bachelor’s degree in communication from Boston University and she is certified in knowledge management. She lives in the D.C. area, where she serves on the leadership team of a professional communications network.
