Rana Suliman, MPH

Rana Suliman serves as a senior advisor at Transform Health, where she leads a dynamic portfolio of complex health care projects aimed at improving health and well-being across California. This includes directing transformative initiatives like California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) projects with a broad range of partners and stakeholders to integrate and improve health delivery systems.

Prior to joining Transform Health, Rana advanced efficiency in health philanthropy by developing programming and publications on emerging issues in health policy and health care, as well as advising national and state-based health funders. Previously, Rana developed continuing education programming for clinicians at a large health association. She led a study surveying 400 clinicians to create a standardized set of educational and clinical family planning core competencies, with results published in a leading clinical journal.

Rana is skilled in program design and management, strategic planning, facilitation, consensus building, and training and technical assistance. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and Spanish from Franklin & Marshall College and a Master of Public Health from the George Washington University Milken Institute of Public Health.
